A LATE downpour failed to dampen the summer fete fun at the Longs Arms in Yarnbrook.
The pub’s community fun day saw children and adults enjoying stalls and a bouncy castle, raising £300 for MacMillan Cancer Care on Saturday.
Manager Tracey Bodman said: “We’re very grateful to Trowbridge town crier Trevor Heeks for opening the fete and we also had our company mascot, Superhorse, there.
“We had really nice weather until about 3.30, but by then things were starting to peter out.”
