Plenty of family fun was added to the musical bill at this year’s Village Pump Folk Festival.
White Horse Country Park had attractions from workshops and craft stalls to clothing outlets.
Despite wet weather, spirits were not dampened.
Chris Fleming, 29, of Trowbridge, camped with wife Melissa, 23, and children Freddy, four, and Cameron, two.
He said: “This is the first time we’ve ever come to anything like this as a family and we had a great time. It’s a fantastic fun event in a lovely setting and the music has been first rate.”
In the evenings of the festival – which ran from Friday until Sunday – the White Horse overlooking the site was illuminated.
Festival director John Alderslade said: “It is so iconic and we’d be daft not to make something of it.”
The festival, launched in 1974, is popular among folk performers, many of whom return each year.
Hannah Martin, on the main stage with Phil Henry on Friday, said: “It’s really fantastic to be back at this lovely festival.”
Wiltshire Police reported no problems. Inspector Lisette Harvey said: “The event all went very well from a police point of view.”
Firefighters put out a small stove fire on the campsite at midnight on Sunday.
No-one was hurt in the incident.
