Thunder storms and heavy rain caused disruption and damage across Wiltshire today.
Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service and Wiltshire Police have been called out to numerous incidents as the bad weather took its toll.
Lightning struck two houses in Yeoman Way, Trowbridge, this afternoon, sending tiles and other roof debris into the road. No-one was injured in the incident.
And this evening, vehicles have become stuck in severe flooding in Westbury.
The heavy rainfall has caused flooding on Bratton Road, between Alfred Street and the cemetery with several motorists getting into difficulty. The area is likely to be flooded for some time and police are advising motorists to find alternative routes.
Two accidents also caused delays for motorists.
A Ford KA ended up on its roof at Farleigh Hungerford at 3.45pm, causing the female passenger to be trapped and closing the road for an hour and a half.
A driver was also taken to hospital with minor whiplash injuries after a Renault Clio and Renault Traffic van collided at Wingfield Crossroads at 4.30pm.
Police say the road is now but the cars have yet to be recovered.
