A man was sentenced to three years imprisonment last Thursday at Winchester Crown Court for sexually assaulting a teenage boy in Warminster.
Curtis Lee Ferguson, aged 22, was found guilty of seven counts of sexual offences, which occurred in December 2007 and summer 2009, at Winchester Crown Court on June 27.
Ferguson most recently had no fixed address in Salisbury, but previously lived in Warminster.
DC Darren Ambrose, who led the investigation, said: “The sentence today was the result of the victim in this case having the bravery to come forward and I would like to commend him.
“Ferguson has never accepted responsibility for his actions and we hope the punishment he has received today will give him the opportunity to release the gravity of his offences.
“We hope that this case will give other victims of sexual abuse the confidence to come forward and understanding that we take all reports very seriously and will fully investigate.”
Anyone who has been the victim of sexual abuse can contact Wiltshire Police on 101 or the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) 0808 168 0024 - lines are open 24 hours.
