Two-year-old Tyler Holdaway had a lucky escape last week after falling unscathed from a first floor window.
He fell 14 feet from a window at his home on Coronation Road, Melksham on Sunday, but was discharged from Bath RUH the following morning with only minor cuts and bruises.
His mother Carla Nyman said: “It’s a miracle he’s ok.
“We had just put him to bed, and we always check his windows are shut.
“A quarter of an hour later my partner was running a bath and he thought he heard our son outside.
“He rushed into his bedroom and found him hanging out of the window. As he went to get him he let go and fell, and he bounced off the downstairs window and onto the grass.
“We called an ambulance and he had some scratches, but no major injuries or broken bones.
“He was really shaken up and pretty scared, but he is doing better now he’s safely recovered.”
