A crash between two vehicles on the A36 near Upton Scudamore caused the road to be closed in both directions for over two hours on Friday.
The collision, between a blue Peugeot 206 and silver Mercedes CDI Estate Sport, happened at 10.45pm on the A36 at the junction with Upton Scudamore.
The Highways Agency was contacted by police to help clear up, after the incident caused oil spillage on the road. The road was finally re-opened at just after 12.40am.
