The owner of a Senegal parrot found in Southwick, near Trowbridge, is being sought.
The green, grey and orange coloured bird was spotted loose on July 7 when a member of the public rang Birdline Parrot Rescue.
The group’s regional branch, based in Chippenham, is currently taking care of the bird.
David Vickery, who runs the regional group, said: “It is very tame, it has got to be someone’s loved pet, so we are really keen to get the parrot back with its owners.”
Anyone who believes the parrot might be theirs can call Birdline Parrot Rescue on 0845 643 1785.
