Pupils leaving Christ Church Primary School at the end of term painted a mural to leave a memento of their time there.
Students from Laurence School sixth form lent a helping hand by drawing the outline of the design, while Year 6 pupils filled it in.
Caroline Hunjan, Year 6 teacher, said: “It was the Year 6 children’s’ idea.
“They were challenged to raise funds and leave a legacy behind to contribute to the school in a positive way.”
The pupils were given £120 to raise money for future school projects and raised £700 through selling items and doing activities.
