Trowbridge mayor David Halik held a civic service at St James’ Church last Sunday.
Town councillor Halik welcomed guests including MP Andrew Murrison, Wilt-shire Police Inspector Lis-ette Harvey and Wiltshire’s Police and Crime Commiss-ioner Angus Macpherson.
“I am constantly impressed by the way that many of the people of Trowbridge work together to improve our county town,” said Cllr Halik.
Cllr Halik said he was proud to be part of the regeneration of Trowbridge and looking forward to the opening of the town’s new cinema complex, in St Stephen’s Place, in October.
Guests made donations in aid of Storehouse Foodbank and Revival Wiltshire RASAC, who are the mayor’s two nominated charities.
