Finishing touches were being made to the Village Pump Folk Festival this week as the event prepares to get into full swing tomorrow.
Around 2,000 tickets have been sold for the annual event, running until Sunday, at the White Horse Country Park in Westbury with headliners The Proclaimers, Steeleye Span and singer-songwriter Steve Knightley.
John Alderslade, festival director, said: “I hope our visitors have a lot of fun as this is an enthusiasts festival run by enthusiasts.”
A team of around 50 volunteers have been working on the site, putting up the festival’s two stages and club tent, with 200 working over the weekend. More details at www.villagepumpfolkfestival.co.uk.
