Cake addicts will be in their element at Codford Cupcake Day on August 10, with the money raised from the fundraising event going towards Target Ovarian Cancer Charity and Mims Fund.
The event, which will take place from noon to 5pm at Codford Village Hall, will include children’s cupcake decorating, a bouncy castle, stalls, raffle, barbecue, music and face painting.
There will also be cupcake competitions, with the five categories including best farm-theme cupcake, best children’s cupcake for under- 12s, best character cupcake, best vintage design cupcake and best in show.
Bakers wishing to take part in the competitions need to supply four cupcakes, with a certificate given toeach winner and a prize for best in show.
Co-organiser Adrian Firth, said: “We are in need of cake makers to pledge and donate cupcakes for the day, whether they are from professionals or amateurs.”
