A drugged-up motorist led police on a car chase two days before he was due before magistrates to face sentence for dangerous driving.
Michal Flisinski was on bail and banned from the road when he sped away from officers when they spotted him at the wheel of a bright orange VW polo on the White Horse Business Park, Trowbridge.
He was eventually stopped, and a blood sample taken after he was found to be in possession of cannabis and amphetamines.
But despite the fact the 29-year-old was due before magistrates less than 48 hours later the police released him on bail, and four weeks later he did it all again.
Now the defendant is in custody awaiting sentence after appearing at Swindon Crown Court.
Flisinski, of Charlotte Square, Trowbridge, admitted two counts of dangerous driving, no insurance, driving while disqualified and while unfit through drugs.
He also pleaded to failing to stop, possessing cannabis and amphetamines, going equipped to steal, failing to surrender to custody and breaching a community order.
The case was adjourned to Friday, August 16
