A summer fun day in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust will be held at Clarendon Academy on Saturday, August 3.
The event, running between 11am and 4pm, is being organised by Jade Francis, 24, of Wiltshire Drive, Trowbridge.
Property manager Miss Francis, 24, was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called sarcoma after finding a lump on her arm in January and had surgery at Bristol’s Frenchay Hospital.
Miss Francis, who is recovering, said: “There’s been a lot of hard work put into the event and I’m sure it’ll be a really great day.”
The event will feature attractions including fancy dress football, a raffle, stalls and a bouncy castle.
Funds raised will be going towards the Teenage Cancer Trust’s campaign to build a new £2.5m unit at Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre.
