Two children’s centres in Melksham are opening their doors to families this summer, for a host of activities, help and advice.
The King’s Park centre in Lowbourne and the Canberra Centre on Spa Road are both hosting free activities this summer, for parents and children.
A pirate-themed day will take place on August 15 at King’s Park Children’s Centre, with a Teddy Bears’ Picnic planned at Canberra on August 30.
Both centres will also be offering support for parents, with a child health clinic and baby massage sessions, and an outreach service for families in need of one-on-one support.
Sue Deedigan, cluster manager for west Wiltshire at 4Children, the charity which runs the centres, said: “Lots of parents struggle to find fun and exciting ways to spend time with their children over the summer holidays.
“We’re calling on all families with young children to join us for some fun filled, events which should give the children a summer to remember.”
