A man accused of carrying out a nighttime assault in Warminster town centre has been released on bail.
Daniel McIntyre, 20, of Daniell Crest, Warminster, is said to have assaulted Jack Downland at 2am in the alleged incident on Sunday, February 10, close to the old John Barleycorn in Warminster.
He is accused of grievous bodily harm, but no charge was formally put to McIntyre and he did not enter a plea during the brief hearing at Swindon crown court.
The case was adjourned to Friday, September 27 and McIntyre released on bail on condition he does not go to the High Street, Market Place or Weymouth Street between 8.30pm and 5.30am.
