The annual Sutton Veny Flower Show showcased several vintage cars as part of this year’s event at Alexander Memorial Field, including the 1919 Sunbeam that appeared in Downton Abbey.
The car was one of 10 classic cars from private collections across the south west that were on show, while the event also celebrated the best in flower, fruit and vegetable growing.
Tracey Strange won the Best in Show award for her flower arrangement, one of 40 trophies at the show, which covers Sutton Veny, Tytherington, Norton Bavant and Bishopstrow.
Features included an archery demonstration, live music from the Bell Street Jazz Band and Maypole dancing.
Julia Tuff, chairman of the flower show committee, said: “It was a lovely day, almost too hot, but we weren’t complaining as we had a complete washout last year.”
