Wildlife TV presenter Miranda Krestovnikoff made a big splash when she officially opened the newly renovated pond at Trowbridge’s Biss Meadows Country Park on Saturday.
The One Show star unveiled the area, which has been revamped as part of an £80,000 project with a new access ramp, seating and pathways.
The work was overseen by volunteer group Friends of Biss Meadows Country Park, which has about 200 members.
During the opening, the winner’s of the Inspired by Biss Meadows art competition were announced with Pattie Harford, from North Bradley, winning the event and Timothy Towers, of Heather Shaw, Trowbridge, coming second.
The launch event featured guided tours and music by pupils from John of Gaunt School.
