Hilperton Primary School is buzzing after winning big in this year’s Trowbridge in Bloom competition.
The blossoming school was announced as the best primary but also won a host of other awards.
Headteacher Ruth Farrell praised pupils, parents, staff and governors for getting behind the entries. She said: “They all did brilliantly and I’m so very proud of the effort from the whole school, as Trowbridge in Bloom has become a massive part of Hilperton Primary School.
“One of stand-out wins was in the children’s scarecrow category, where we entered a beekeeper in keeping with the bee theme for this year.”
Zion Baptist Church took the Bowyers Perpetual Trophy for best external floral garden for an entry commemorating its own 200th anniversary.
