Three people were taken to hospital yesterday after a serious crash in Corsham.
The driver and passenger of a maroon Ford Fiesta were hospitalised after they collided with a red Nissan Vanette on the A4, shortly before 2pm.
Fire crews attending the scene worked to cut the two from the car.
A woman was then flown to Frenchay Hospital near Bristol with leg and pelvic injuries, while a man was driven there by ambulance, with what are described as "seemingly minor" injuries.
The driver of the Vanette was taken to Bath RUH with cuts and bruises, and was discharged yesterday.
Initial reports suggest the van, which was travelling eastbound along the Bath Road, veered into the oncoming lane, where it collided with the Fiesta.
The incident is being investigated by PC Mark Cargill of Wiltshire Police. Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to contact him on 101.
