The future of the region’s waste services will be discussed by Wiltshire Council’s cabinet.
A meeting, at Monkton Park, Chippenham, on Tuesday, will discuss the contract held by FCC Environment, which expires 2014, and one held by the Hills Group, which expires in 2016.
John Thomson, the council’s deputy leader, said it would consider whether to bring services in-house or invite firms to tender for them.
He said: “Any changes need to be provided with great care and attention.”
