The scene of the accident in Woodcock Road, Warminster
A WHITE Volkswagen van crashed into a wall in Woodcock Road, Warminster, at about 5pm today, scraping the side of a terraced house before coming to a stop and blocking the door of the neighbouring house.
The male driver, who was carrying two passengers, was unhurt but a fire crew attended to turn off the gas supply as a precaution because the van knocked the gas meter off the wall of the first house.
The first house, which was unoccupied at the time, had its window smashed and the occupants of the house next door were able to leave via the back of the house.
The road remained open as police investigated.
