Following on from their butterfly project in the grounds of Dorothy House at Winsley, pupils from Bellefield Primary School in Trowbridge visited the hospice’s Trowbridge outreach centre.
As part of a creative arts project aimed at forging new links with the Trowbridge community, the Year 6 pupils made a felt wall hanging for the Trowbridge centre.
Ros Stroud, creative arts team leader at Dorothy House, said: “The Back to Nature community project has given the pupils and us a chance to learn more about each other.”
The hanging will be installed in the café area. It may later be displayed at Winsley, and at the hospice’s other outreach centre at Peasedown St John, before returning to Trowbridge.
