A new sports, physical activity and leisure booklet will be launched on Thursday to show what activities are available within the county.
The Active Wiltshire booklet is being distributed across the county through schools, leisure centres, libraries and council offices.
It includes the latest opportunities offered by Wiltshire Council relating to sports development, health and physical activity, funding and events, and the county’s 23 leisure centres.
Details of school holiday programmes and Xtreme Sports Clubs are also in the booklet as well as information relating to the council’s new Sky Rides programme, Active Health and the Get Wiltshire Walking initiative.
Sports Clubs can also use Active Wiltshire to find out more information about the On Your Marks, Get Set, Go! club development programme, the online sports club directory and details of funding opportunities.
Jonathon Seed, cabinet member with responsibility for leisure, said: “I encourage residents to pick up a booklet to see the wealth of opportunities available to them in sport, physical activity and leisure across the county.
"Wiltshire Council is committed to providing a legacy from the 2012 London Olympics and Paralympics and many of the programmes included in the brochure reflect that.”
