Hundreds of people lined the streets of Melksham as the annual carnival made its way through town.
The parade kicked off yesterday with the Calne Samba Band closely followed by the Carnival Queen in a blue Mercedes convertible.
Spectators enjoyed an array of colourful floats that perfectly complimented the sunny day including; a jungle boom float by Aloeric Primary School, a Lions themed float by Melksham Rugby Club and a world party float by The Manor School.
Mark Bailey, who watched the parade, said: "It's been good.
"So far my favourite float is the world party, it's very colourful."
Sandra Stacey added: "The weather has been amazing, it really gets people out to enjoy themselves on days like this.
"Its been very good, I liked Candy Jax's float."
There were also a number of dance displays by troops including Frome Charisma Twirlers and Infinity Dance Team and music from Antigua Joe. Sophie Palmer, 14, went to the carnival with her friends. She said: "I've enjoyed it. I think my favourite thing has probably been the dancers."
After a successful parade Antigua Joe was named as the best float with Alice in Wonderland by The Pig and Whistle coming second and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Candy Jax third. The mayor's choice was given to The Lions float by Melksham Rugby Club.
