Pupils from Kingdown School arrived in style last Friday for the Year 11 prom at the school – with some even turning up in a horse-drawn carriage.
There were several other interesting entrances, including two pupils arriving on horseback, another on a tractor and two on mobility scooters, while others chose more traditional limousines and vintage cars.
The theme for the evening was Las Vegas and there was even a roulette wheel for the pupils to try their luck on, while the hall was extravagantly decorated with large dice and playing cards.
Pupils and teachers dressed up in their best attire for an evening of dancing and reminiscing, before a prom king and queen were chosen at the end of night.
Deputy headteacher Steven Dudley said: “It was a fantastic evening and all the students looked wonderful and really enjoyed the event. We’re really proud of them and we wish them well in whatever they have chosen to do next year.”
