A blossoming flower show in Trowbridge’s St James’ Church hopes to be a winner as it has entered the town’s In Bloom event.
The week-long exhibition began on Monday and will be open between 10am-4pm every day until Saturday.
Themes for the arrangements, created by about 20 people, are weddings, birthdays and resurrection, while there is a display about Sir Isaac Pitman, who was born in Trowbridge in 1813, and created Pitman shorthand.
Organiser Maelene Hunt said: “It is nice to see the church getting together and doing something memorable like this.
“We’ve had a lot of visitors since the display opened and we’d like to see even more through to the end of the week.”
