Pupils from Clarendon Academy have raised around £300 through a jam jar challenge for charity.
The children collected loose change and decorated their jars to earn house points. They will now decide which charities their funds will go to.
Vice principal Catherine Szabo said: “I was particularly impressed not only by the amount of money that was raised but also by the quality of the pupils’ ideas in decorating the humble jam jar.”
