I WAS saddened by your report concerning Holbrook School. My family and I have had connections with the school since 1996 and in our opinion is an excellent place for learning.
Is education about test results and league tables or happy, well-motivated children who are comfortable in their environment led by a head and staff who are totally committed to the care and well-being of the school community?
In any group of parents you will have some who can't or won't co-operate, who do not recognise the enormous difficulties and amount of hard work which goes into running a school or who have unreasonable expectations for their own children. Schools have to deal with this but unless everyone is pulling in the same direction, it makes a difficult job much harder.

PS. Some of your headlines are becoming like those of the national tabloid papers and I don't like it.
