THE pints were flowing in Melksham as more than 300 people descended on the Assembly Hall for the town's annual beer festival.
Now in its third year, the event remained as popular as ever and featured 26 varieties of beer, and four ciders as well as live music.
The drinking began on Friday evening and was followed by two more sessions, one on Saturday afternoon and another at night.
The festival is organised by Melksham Entertainment Group (MEG), an organisation formed to put on events for people of the town.
MEG committee member Geoff Mitcham said: "It was fantastic, a very successful event and the numbers were very good even though a lot of people were at bonfires on Saturday night.
"As always it was a good atmosphere, with everyone getting on well and enjoying the chance to have a chat.
"Lots of groups came in together and on Saturday afternoon there was a stag party, which managed to drink quite a few."
Danish Dynamite, a dry, strong ale brewed by Stonehenge Ales Ltd, proved to be a popular tipple and was the first of the beers to run out.
