TV star and wildlife campaigner Chris Packham gave a keynote speech as members of a leading Wiltshire environmental charity gathered for an annual general meeting on Tuesday.
The presenter of the Bafta-winning children's TV series The Really Wild Show was speaking at the AGM of the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust in Devizes.
Chris, a winner of the coveted Wildlife Photographer of the Year award, has TV programmes including Hands on Nature, Watch Out, Inside Out in the South and X-Creatures.
The Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK's leading environmental charities, which recognises that the conservation of wildlife and preservation of the planet are inextricably linked, and works to promote a sustainable future for wildlife and people. It has more than 18,000 members and supporters, and more than 1,000 volunteers working on a range of projects. The trust owns or manages 2,000 acres of nature reserves that provide havens for plants and animals.
