THREE hundred and forty five revellers at this summer's Trowbridge Village Pump Festival have entered the Guinness Book of Records.
They were part of a record attempt on June 23 for the Largest Spoons Ensemble and this week a letter and certificate was sent to organisers to confirm the new record.
It was led by local street theatre group Stripey Jumper and 345 festival goers joined in to play the spoons to Knees up Mother Brown.
Over the past 12 months Guinness received 65,000 claims and they approved 2,244 which is only a 3.4 per cent success rate.
The 345 official World Record holders are all listed individually on the web site www.stripey-jumper.co.uk and are welcome to contact the group's Sean Price to arrange an official certificate.
Mr Price can be contacted on (01373) 826886 or 07738 675390.
