ROSS Adams woke up with concussion on Wednesday morning to find Chippenham had been dumped out of the FA Trophy.
The defender was taken to hospital during Tuesday night's 3-1 defeat at Didcot after a nasty clash of heads with an opponent.
When Adams left the Loop Meadow Stadium in an ambulance Chippenham had just equalised, but that was the last contact he had with the team.
The 21-year-old answered his phone the following morning to discover Didcot had prevailed in extra-time.
