TROWBRIDGE Wanderers B have booked their place in the second round of the Wiltshire Times and Chippenham News Mid-Wilts Youth and Minor League under nines league cup.

In the most exciting game of the round Bradford Town Youth C and Trowbridge Wanderers B cancelled each other out through normal and extra-time and a 3-3 final scoreline sent the game into a penalties. Wanderers held their nerve for a place in the next round by winning the shoot-out.

Felix Pivcevic, Harry Hearn and Harvey Bennett scored normal and extra time goals for Bradford.

Bradford Town Youth A ran out 2-0 winners at Derry Hill United, with goals from Sam Phillips and Hayden Burton.

Trowbridge Wanderers A go through to the next round after running out 5-0 winners over White Horse Juniors A. Jack Brewer (2), Josh Howlett (3) scored for Wanderers.

Trowbridge Town Youth B beat AFC Corsham 6-1. Both teams looked forward to this cup-tie as in all previous matches the teams have been evenly matched and put on entertaining displays.

AFC Corsham took the lead through leading scorer Patrick Osborne, but Kyle Webb quickly equalised and then gained a free kick from which Billy Wilkins-Pratt and scored. Trowbridge were then thankful to Kyle Oakley, who stood his ground to make a good penalty save.

Wilkins-Pratt then raced through to score again to give Trowbridge a 3-1 advantage. Just before half-time Corsham goalkeeper Tom Knight was injured and did not reappear after the break. Newly appointed vice-captain Liam Johnston volunteered to go between the sticks but could not keep out three second half goals, all scored by Trowbridge's Blake Clark.

Trowbridge thoroughly deserved this victory and played very well to keep the Corsham midfield trio from imposing themselves on the game. The game was played in an excellent spirit and refereed by promising young referee Callum Smith, who handled the game very well indeed.

Jack Penfold and Cullen Wylie gave Devizes Town Youth a narrow 2-1 lead at the break against Larkhall Athletic. Devizes were rampant in the second half, scoring a further seven goals with one in reply to finish 9-2 winners. Devizes' second half goals came from Jamie Hall (2), Jared Edwards, Wylie and an own goal. George Williams scored both goals for Larkhall.

Melksham Park A attacked from the kick-off against Trowbridge Town Youth C, with a Myles Edwards effort superbly saved by the Trowbridge goalkeeper.

After a couple of minutes Melksham scored their first goal from a corner which was flicked on by Tom Corke and met on the volley by Myles Edwards.

Trowbridge kicked off and had a run on Melksham's goal only to see a great effort pushed wide of the post by the safe hands of goalkeeper Tom Whiffin.

The second half started like the first, with end-to-end football and goals could have come at either end before Edwards scored a second goal from a clever pass from George Dee.

From the kick-off Calum Carroll took the ball around two Trowbridge players and played in Bradley Mitchell who hit a low shot from outside of the box to make it 3-0 to Melksham.

Melksham Town Youth Robins went into the next round with a 3-1 away win over Chippenham Town Youth White. Kieran Hall, Rhys Kemish and Brandon Mills scored for the Robins.

Under 11s League Cup

WILLIAM Abrams gave Melksham Park an early lead against FC Chippenham and then made it 2-0 after a fine solo run.

Park took the score to 6-0 at the break, with goals from George Briggs (penalty), Abrams, to complete his hat-trick, Callum Dunbar and AJ Hobbs.

Dunbar completed his hat-trick in the second half as Park finished 8-0 winners.

Team Bath Arsenal took a 3-1 lead at the break against Frome Collegians before going on to finish 5-4 winners. Jacob Ford and Liam Burcombe (2) scored for Collegians.

Goals from Adam Gerrard, Ben Pring, Matt North and Jebez Harvey gave Chippenham Town Youth White a 4-1 home win against Bradford Town Youth.

Trowbridge Wanderers started well, putting visitors Derry Hill United under a lot of pressure and taking a 3-0 lead at the break.

Derry Hill created several chances after the interval, forcing Wanderers into last ditch defending. After absorbing the pressure Wanderers went back on the attack and increased their score to 4-0. Derry scored a late consolation goal to end the game at 4-1.

Wanderers' goalkeeper Jack Sully was praised for his magnificent effort in goal. Ben Spong, Billy Bartlett (2) and Jake Samuel scored for Wanderers.

Westbury dominated from the start against Larkhall Athletic B and were leading 3-0 at half-time with goals from Jake Rylands (2) and Callum Elkins.

Elkins then added another three to his tally before Dan Precup put the final nail in the coffin for Westbury to finish 7-1 winners. Man-of-the-match for Westbury was Callum Elkins. Westbury paid credit to the Larkhall goalkeeper who played extremely well under great pressure.

White Horse Juniors ran out 5-2 winners away to Marshfield, with Aneirin Llewellyn-Evans and Jeremy Bond scoring for Marshfield.

After a very entertaining game Devizes Town Youth were 4-2 winners over AFC Corsham with two late goals from Bradley Hill to complete a brilliant hat-trick. Adam Walters also scored for Devizes.

A Luis Bishop hat-trick secured a 3-2 win for visitors Chippenham Town Youth against Castle Combe Colts. Oscar Ryan and Liam Wootten scored for Combe.

Under Nines Green Division

IN a bottom of the table clash Bradford Town Youth ran out 8-1 winners away to Chippenham Town Youth.

Hayden Burton (3), Kofi Sawyer (2), Freddie Oliphant (2) and Ross Gilbert scored for Bradford, with Jack Utton replying for Chippenham.

Under 10s Blue Division

DEVIZES Town Youth took a 1-0 first half lead against Amesbury Tigers with a goal from John Jones. Amesbury pulled one back in the second half before Devizes regained the lead with a second from Jones to clinch the 2-1 win.

Melksham Town Youth ran out 7-0 winners at Trowbridge Wanderers with a little help from the home side. Melksham's goals came from Daniel Sibley, Morgan Burton (3) and a hat-trick of own goals.

AFC Corsham Jaguars moved two points clear at the top of the table following their 4-0 away win against White Horse Juniors Dynamos. Patrick Grieshaber (2), John Harding and Liam Merriott scored for the Jaguars.

Under 10s Green

MELKSHAM Town Robins' passing game put a below strength Bromham under pressure from the start.

Melksham appeared to be cruising at 3-0 but a moment's lack of concentration just before half-time resulted in the Bromham striker being found unmarked with only the Melksham keeper to beat. The keeper saved twice but was unable to keep out the third effort.

The second half was a more even affair, with neither side making any advance and leaving the final score at 3-1 to the Robins. Melksham's goals came from Sam Rose, Elliott Fudge and Daniel Cleverley.

Second placed Trowbridge Town remain three points behind the leaders with two games in hand after their 3-2 away win against Westbury Youth. Shane Roy and Brad Gill scored for Westbury.

Worton and Cheverell failed to impress Castle Combe Colts White with another lacklustre performance. Combe took a 3-0 lead at the break before going on to finish 5-1 winners. Ben Marshall scored for Worton with Elliot Hopkins winning the man-of-the-match award for a stout defensive performance.

Under 10s Red Division

LEADERS Biddestone FC ran out convincing 8-0 winners against FC Chippenham, with goals from George Campbell (3), Deane Williams (2), Cameron Younger, Hayden Campbell, and Gregory Evans.

Bradford Town Youth Whites beat Derry Hill United 6-2 in a game of high skill from both sides. Both sides played some lovely open football that was a pleasure to watch for both sets of spectators.

Derry Hill's goals were scored by Billy Gleed and Craig Jordan, both as a result of crosses from Kieran Glennon.

Under 10s Yellow Division

BISHOPS Cannings raced into a 3-0 lead in their home game against Larkhall Athletic, but second half substitutions paid off for the visitors as they fought back with goals from Ben Tiley, Eleanor Lyne and a fabulous chip over the defenders and keeper from Caleb Collins.

Larkhall continued to push for the winner but were caught on the break giving Bishops Canning the points with a 4-3 final score.

Bradford Town Youth narrowed the gap at the top of the table after their home victory over leaders Castle Combe Colts. After a cautious ten minutes Gus Wright gave Bradford the lead. Bradford continued to press the Combe goal and increased their lead with a low soft shot from Tom Francis. Combe started the second half the stronger of the two sides, with Bradford finding it difficult to get out of their own half. Despite their efforts Combe failed to reply, ending the game at 2-0 to Bradford.

Goals from Luke Thomson (2) and Callum Dommett earned Melksham Town Magpies a 3-1 away win against Biddestone FC.

Under 11s Blue Division

LARKHALL Athletic earned their first win of the season by running out 3-1 winners over visitors Melksham Town Youth.

Jordan Jenkins, Oliver Noad and Gareth Davis scored for Larkhall.

Under 12s Blue Division

TROWBRIDGE Town Youth continued their strong start to the season with a convincing win over Warminster Highbury.

Trowbridge worked hard in the first half, scoring twice with one reply.

Trowbridge stepped up the pace in the second half to dominate the game and score again. Trowbridge's goals came from Ryan Underwood, Jordan Bryant and Luke Murden.

Melksham Town Youth Blue bounced back after their defeat last week to run out 16-0 winners at home to Chippenham Town Youth. Hayden Stevenson (4), Charlie Austin (4), Luke Love (4), Jake Cooper, Billy Cookson, William Jacomb and Callum Parks scored for Melksham.

Under 12s Green Division

AMESBURY came out knowing they needed a win against struggling Melksham Park Youth.

The first half saw both teams fighting hard to gain the advantage but Amesbury struck first with a quality goal from Matty Walsh, who took on the Melksham defence and slotted the ball past the diving goalkeeper. A few minutes later Carlos Downie tucked the ball away after Melksham were unable to clear.

The second half saw Amesbury take the advantage and pile on the pressure, with goals from Simon Perry, Walsh (2) to complete his hat-trick, Downie (2) and a sweet across goal strike from Josh Wightman. Melksham managed to pull one back through Ross Callis after the Amesbury defence failed to clear.

A good end-to-end first half saw Bemerton Heath Harlequins score early on with a goal from Sam Harding before FC Chippenham equalised just before the break with a well taken penalty.

A stronger Harlequins came out in the second half and slowly wore down a tough Chippenham side but not before a scare with the score at 3-2. Goals from Sam Harding, bringing his tally to four, and Sam O'Hagan from 25 yards saw the Harlequins home to a 5-2 win.

Under 12s Red Division

MARSHFIELD cruised to a 5-1 lead in their home game against Marlborough.

Marlborough fought back to take the score to 5-3 but a late goal from the home side put the game out of the visitors' reach. Marshfield's goals came from Jack Ashton (3), Jimmy Neal, Keelan Finnegan and Sam Walker.

Trowbridge Town Cougars played some excellent passing football and controlled the first half to take an 8-0 lead at the break against Bromham.

Trowbridge increased their lead to 10-0 before Bromham scored a late consolation goal.

Jack Noden (5), Nick Josevski (3), Taran Stormes-Martino and Reuben Cross scored for Trowbridge, with Richard Phillips replying for Bromham.

A complete team effort from AFC Calne kept their unbeaten run on track in their home game against Trowbridge Wanderers. Wanderers came to Calne with the best defence in the league and every first and second ball became a physical challenge.

Ten minutes into the second half Eddolls latched onto a defence splitting through ball to break the deadlock and score the deserved opener for Calne.

Wanderers came out searching for an equaliser and put Calne under pressure, but a defensive mistake by Wanderers let in birthday boy Cody Haines to put Calne 2-0 up.

Both teams showed true commitment to their clubs. An injury time free kick led to a late goal for Wanderers, but Calne kept their composure throughout to take all the points.

Under 12s Yellow Division

HAT-TRICKS from Anthony Wooltock and Alex Poulitou gave Malmesbury Youth all three points in their 6-2 away win against Dilton Rovers.

Under 13s Blue Division

AMESBURY Juniors remain five points clear at the top of the table following their 8-1 home win over Trowbridge Wanderers.

Jordan Matthews, Ashley Towse (2), James Henry (2), Noel McCarthy, James Dolman and John Ryan-Zinn scored for Amesbury.

Goals from Alex De Silva (2), Joshua White and Jack Miluk gave Trowbridge Town Youth a 4-2 away win over Bradford Town Youth White.

Second place FC Chippenham's campaign continued on track following their 6-0 home win against Derry Hill United. Jamal Chevolleau (2), Dan Heavey, Jamie Walker and Alex Warburton scored for Chippenham.

An end-to-end game saw Warminster Highbury lead 4-2 at the break against Corsham FC before going on to finish 7-4 winners. Nathan Yeaden (2), Tom Martin (2), and captain Max Betteridge (3) scored for Highbury, with Joe Lye (2), Mel King and Leigh Rogers replying for Corsham.

Under 13s Green Division

WHITE Horse had their share of possession against visitors Worton and Cheverell but failed to make the most of their chances.

Worton took the lead midway through the first half and made it 2-0 from the penalty spot before the break. Neither side could find the back of the net in the second half ending the game at 2-0 to Worton. Declan Blanford and Richard Tandy scored for Worton.

A fairly even first half saw visitors Westbury Youth edge ahead of Trowbridge Wanderers with a 3-4 score line. The game belonged to Westbury in the second half, increasing their tally to ten with no reply before the final whistle.

Lewis Gardiner (2), Thomas Blackman (4), Cameron Hulbert (3) and Ashley Bodman scored for Westbury, with James Orchard (2) and Robert Orchard replying for Wanderers.

After a goal-less first half Trowbridge Town Youth took the lead through Jack Parker in their away game against Chippenham Town Youth. A second for Parker sealed the visitors' victory.

Under 13s Red Division

FC CHIPPENHAM 2nds celebrated their second win of the season with a 2-0 home win over Warminster United Youth. Joe Blackmore Davies scored both goals for Chippenham.

An excellent game played in good spirit saw Pewsey Vale run out 6-3 winners against Castle Combe Colts. Tom Pinder (3), Cameron Amor, Josh Gregory and Chris Milne scored for Pewsey, with Luke Simpkins (2) and Oliver Thomas replying for Combe.

Nick Richens and Tom Hartley scored for Melksham Park in their 2-1 home win against Bradford Town Youth Blue.

Bromham FC remain third following their 3-1 away win against Westbury Youth 2nds. Rory Wiltshire (2) and Tom Chinhong scored for Bromham.

Under 14s Blue Division

AFC CALNE earned their first three points of the season by running out 4-3 winners against Trowbridge Town Youth.

Mike Hill and Josh Eades gave Calne a 2-1 lead at the break, with Hill and Mike Coulson completing the scoring in the second half. Ryan Greenland (2) and Dominic Smith scored for Trowbridge.

Leaders Devizes Town Youth suffered a blow to their title hopes when visitors AFC Corsham took all three points. Corsham gave an excellent all-round team performance, taking a 3-1 lead at the break before going on to take the game at 8-1.

Corsham's goals came from Tom Smith (3), Ernie Peibst (2), Sam Thomson (penalty), Ajay Arithoppah and an own goal. Joseph Hutchinson replied for Devizes.

Amesbury Juniors kept a clean sheet in their home game against Melksham Park running out 4-0 winners. Mick Scott (2), Ross Ferguson and Liam Hope scored the goals.

A midtable clash saw Trowbridge Wanderers run out 6-2 winners away to Warminster Highbury. Sam Houkes, Martin Johnson, Sam Wordsford (2), Adam Mercer and Otis Young scored for the Wanderers, with Ada Bryant and Jamie Samways replying for Highbury.

Under 14s Green Division

THE local derby between FC Chippenham and visitors Chippenham Town Youth produced a nail-biting game which saw the sides cancel each other out with a 2-2 final score.

FC Chippenham's goals came from Matt Hudson and an own goal.

Melksham Town Youth move up into fourth place following their 3-0 away win over Chippenham Town Rangers. Jon Cox, Dan Cain and Matty Bird scored for Melksham.

Under 14s Red Division

BRADFORD Town Youth and visitors Derry Hill United were evenly matched in an exciting game that finished 1-1.

Derry Hill opened their account with an early first half goal and, after absorbing sustained pressure, Bradford replied with a well worked counter attack late in the first-half resulting in a goal from Gabriel Nathan.

Larkhall stay top of the table on goal difference after running out 8-0 winners at home to Chippenham Town Youth 2nds. Hat tricks from Chris Day and Connor Lynch helped seal the victory, with further goals from Matt Klinpikuln and Josh White.

Lewis Heathcote scored five of Melksham Park 2nds' six goals in their 6-1 home win against Mere FC. Ryan Williams added the sixth.

The midtable clash between Westbury Youth 2nds and visitors Bradford Town Youth Blues saw an even first half, with Westbury edging ahead at 2-1.

Bradford's defence collapsed in the second half as Westbury increased their tally to finish 9-1 winners.

Flynn Precup (3), Alex Smith, Ryan Gouch (2), Reece Abbot and Casey Domini (2) scored for Westbury.

Under 15s Blue Division

BEMERTON Heath Harlequins took a 2-1 lead at the break in their away game to Lydiard FC.

Lydiard brought the scores level before going on to lead 3-2, but a last minute effort from the visitors ended the game all square at 3-3. Reece Light (2) and Adam Rock (penalty) scored for Bemerton.

Under 15s Green Division

JUST one point separates second placed Melksham Park from leaders Trowbridge Wanderers after their 8-3 home win against Chippenham Town Youth.

Ben Forester (4), Dan Moore (3) and Daniel Slade scored for Park.

Ross Sweet put Devizes Town Youth ahead very early on in their away game against Trowbridge Wanderers. Wanderers equalised through James Reeves before taking the lead at 2-1 through Courtney Jones. The game could have gone either way in the second half but a last minute strike from Ryan Spong secured the points for Wanderers.

Jamie Long put Worton and Cheverell in the lead before a Matthew Smart free kick brought the scores level for AFC Calne. After the break Worton took the score line to 4-1 before Aaron Hopkins pulled one back for Calne.

Under 15s Red Division

AFC CORSHAM went 1-0 up after only two minutes through Sam Vasey after Westbury's defence failed to deal with an incisive attack.

Westbury's defence suffered a lot of pressure throughout the first half but managed to keep the score down to just 2-0, with Jack Vasey getting the second goal for Corsham.

Corsham increased their lead through Eddie Sibbick before Westbury won a corner which was delivered perfectly by Jonny Tribick to the edge of the six yard box and Martin Perry rose amid the crowd to head home.

Three minutes later Corsham won a free kick 25 yards out and Lee Marshall's shot was deflected in. Westbury quickly hit back and four minute later won a free kick. Scott Power dropped a ball into the area and Martin Perry was the quickest to react and directed his header home to bring the final score to 4-2.

Trowbridge Town Youth's dominance of this division continues apace with their latest victims, Amesbury Juniors, finding themselves on the wrong side of a 10-1 final score.

Bradley King-Taylor (4), James Griffiths (2), Omar Bakali, Karl Buckland, Lawrence Giles and James Ricaud all scored for Trowbridge.

Under 16s Blue Division

IN a game of few chances between Bradford Town Youth and Westbury Youth, Bradford scored the only goal of the game in the second half through Tom Giles to run out 1-0 winners.

Trowbridge Town Youth's unbeaten record remains intact after their 3-0 home win over Chippenham Town Youth. Tom Bonser (2) and Emilio Menghini scored for Trowbridge.

A superb all-round team performance earned Devizes Town Youth a 5-2 home win over Castle Combe Colts Black leaving them one point behind second place Bradford with a game in hand.

Kyle Davis (4) and Charlie Lamb scored for Devizes.

Under 16s Red Division

AFC CORSHAM ran out 6-2 winners at home to Castle Combe Colts White, with hat tricks for both Tom Hammerton and Tom Lye.

FC Chippenham closed the gap at the top of the table but remain second on goal difference after their home win over White Horse Juniors.

Chippenham took a 2-1 lead at the break before going on to finish 5-2 winners. Johnny Ingram (3) and Paul Cook (2) scored for Chippenham, with Sam Lyndsay and Michael Hall replying for White Horse.

Salisbury United took a half-time lead of 3-1 against visitors Amesbury Juniors before going on to finish 4-1 winners. Ricky Duncan (2), Luke Charity and Chris Smith scored for Salisbury.

Under 17s Division

WESTBURY United ran out 6-1 winners at home to Salisbury United, with goals from Aaron Billett (4), Nathan Hallett and Ashley Easton. Jake Fuller scored for Salisbury.

Devizes Blues remain in third place following their 5-2 away win against Marlborough Town. Ollie Camm and Liam Vyze scored for Marlborough.
