A PARTY planning firm from Wylye near Warminster was chosen to organise an international centenary conference for one of the world's leading chartered accountants.
Big Bang Events, which has offices in Wiltshire and London, was picked to plan and organise the Moore Stephens' 2006 International Conference at the Hilton Hotel in Park Lane, London.
An estimated 400 delegates attended the centenary celebrations from 62 different countries.
Big Bang Event's Alison Welsh managing director said it was the firm's greatest challenge in the 15 years it has been running.
Mrs Welsh's team were responsible for organising and running a four-day programme, which culminated in the main conference, involving a champagne reception and a ballroom decked out with flowers and balloons.
A medieval banquet and gala dinner complete with table magicians and laser light show were also on the agenda.
Mrs Welsh said: "We put together a schedule of social events we hoped would interest all the delegates and their partners and provide them with a snapshot of the many wonders of the capital.
"Co-ordinating large groups of people over multiple events requires meticulous planning and I'm delighted to say that our programme ran like clockwork and was extremely well received."
Richard Moore, chairman of Moore Stephens International Limited, said Big Bang had organised an imaginative, entertaining and memorable event'.
