IT IS with regret that the committee of Holbrook Park Pre-School have decided to cancel this year's Christmas Bingo Evening which was to be held in the Civic Hall on December 5.

This decision has been made due to the lack of response from local businesses to donate a bingo/raffle prize for the event. We have been told by many local businesses that they now only support their nominated charity.

The bingo evening has been running for many years and we have received a lot of support from people who have enjoyed the bingo evenings.

We would like to thank those people and also the local businesses who have donated a prize for this year's event. The prizes already donated will now be used in a Christmas raffle to be held at the pre-school during December to raise much-needed funds.
