CLAYTON-SMITH Rod (formerly 'Rodney Smith') Originally of Hawkeridge and latterly Bradford on Avon Westbury Leigh Junior School and Trowbridge Boys' High School. Chef, Financial Advisor, Father, Partner, Musician and all-round good egg. Died on 9th December in the RUH Bath aged 61 Funeral: West Wilts Crematorium, Semington, Wednesday 28th December at 11.45am Donations in lieu of flowers to Dorothy HouseTributes

I cannot thank Rod enough for the kindness and support he gave my family after my Mum died. He has been a true friend to my family. My Mum, Margaret Evans ,held him in high regard as he combined passion and professionalism for his work and a genuine interest in his clients who considered him as a friend. With his typical unering dedication to his business he ensured he passed on his clients into safe hands when he was no longer well enough to act on their behalf. Rod was an energising force combined with a calm sense of purpose. I will miss him. Thank you for everything Rod. At peace.
