IRONS Captain (Retired) William (Bill) Hamilton Irons Last regiment RAPC, Worthy Down, Winchester and later 'Mine host', Landlord of The Linnet Public House, Great Hinton, Trowbridge. Sadly passed away peacefully on Wednesday 10th February in Dorothy House Hospice, aged 94 years. Much loved by his daughters Karen & Debbie & son-in-law Richard. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Bill had so many friends but unfortunately, due to the current restrictions, attendance is limited & the funeral will be by invitation only on Monday 1st March. Family flowers only please but Donations in memory of Bill, if desired, made payable to Dorothy House, who took care of Bill so wonderfully during his final days, may be sent c/o Iles and Vincent Funeral Services, The Cornmarket, Warminster BA12 9BX
