Squadron Leader J.A.M. Davies MBE James Arthur Morris 'Jim' 'Jim The Jump', 'Jungle Jim' Darling Pops, your passing on 26th January 2018 at The Memory Lane Unit, Wingfield Lodge, Trowbridge, aged 96, greeted me with sadness and relief. You are now at peace, soon to be reunited with Mum, your lovely Eileen, who passed away almost eight months to the day, aged 92. What a life we as a family have shared. From your youthful days flying Lancaster Bombers over the skies of Germany back to home bases in Lincolnshire to the Middle East (Palestine), Yemen, Cyprus and the Far East. Finally, at the age of 50, continuing to serve your Queen and country, jumping out of Concorde during her early test flights. Pops you are the last of a generation, and your love and passion for gardening, whereby even the carrots in their rows stood to attention, is a testament to one so special as you.
