HEATH Basil 'Bas' Of Melksham, formerly Shepton Mallet, Deacon and Sunday school teacher of Melksham Baptist Church and retired Pearl Assurance agent, also a member of the Melksham Choral Society, passed away peacefully on 13th February, aged 84 years. A dearly loved husband of Joan, and a dear father, grandfather and great grandfather. The funeral service is to take place on Friday 24th February, 2pm at Melksham Baptist Church, followed by a committal at Semington Crematorium. No black ties please. Family flowers only please and any donations in memory of Bas are for The Melksham Baptist Church or The Brookside Amenity Fund c/o D J Bewley Funeral Directors, 15 Bank Street, Melksham, SN12 6LE.
