Time is running out to enter Frome Festival 2009’s prestigious literature competitions.
Submissions for the International Short Story Competition must arrive by post no later than Saturday, May 30.
Younger writers have a little longer, with the Kumon Children’s Book Review and the Postcard Poetry Competitions closing on Monday, June 22.
The short story competition offers a first prize of £300, with prizes of £150 and £75 for second and third.
Scribes under the age of 18 can enter the Postcard Poetry competition by writing a poem no longer than 20 lines on the back of a postcard. Entry fee for all is £5.
