The New Year has begun for Trowbridge Arts, with places still available for three groups which all meet at the Town Hall on Monday nights.
The Youth Theatre, for ages 10-16, is led by Ali Warren, lead in drama at Clarendon Academy.
There are also three dance groups: Creative Street Dance for ages 7-11, Creative Dance for ages 16 plus and Contemporary dance for ages 14 plus, which is particularly useful for those studying GCSE Dance. All the dance groups are taken by Rachael Arnold a professional dancer who is great fun and will work everyone hard.
Each group takes part in a performance and sees a professional performance as part of their fees.
Termly workshop groups cost: Creative Street Dance £45 per term (or £5 per session); Youth Theatre £35 per term; Creative Dance and Contemporary Dance £50 per term.
Reduced fees are available for those who require financial assistance for youth theatre and the creative and contemporary dance courses: ask for details.
To sign up, call in to the town hall on Market Street, Trowbridge, or contact Rachael McDonald on trowarts@gmail.com or 01225 774360.
The Town Hall is also open 10am-4pm Mondays to Saturdays with its current exhibition, The Pound Open On Tour.
Tracy Sullivan, Trowbridge Arts director explains "We are delighted to provide the Pound Arts Open Exhibition artists with a second opportunity to show their work. With over 80 artworks including paintings, drawing, photography and sculpture, there is something in this show for everyone. We will also be asking the public to vote for their favourite piece.”
