Wiltshire’s very own jazz singer/songwriter sensation, Jamie Cullum, added an extra date to come to Bath, and I’m delighted he did. From the start he dazzled the expectant audience with his extraordinary musical talent, vocal range, stage presence and his creative ability to blend genres and well known classics to an outstanding standard.

Packing a punch with every word, melody and movement, Jamie Cullum proved himself to be a fantastic entertainer, a musical force to be reckoned with, and most significantly, a revolutionary figure in modern day jazz music.

He treated an eager and excited home crowd to some of his best known songs including, I’m All Over It and What a Difference a Day Makes, and also spoilt them with his mesmerising rendition of Rihanna’s Don’t Stop The Music, whilst adding new songs from his latest album, Momentum, including Edge of Something and Pure Imagination.

The audience responded incredibly well throughout, providing multiple standing ovations, clapping and cheering – nobody stayed seated for long.

Respect to Jamie’s brilliant band who allowed the audience to fully experience the beauty of each instrument in turn individually and in unison as a band.

The drums, piano, electric keyboard, guitars and additional vocal support was second to none.

This was a fantastic performance from the Hullavington man. Small but mighty, Jamie Cullum is surely set to go from strength to strengthand will always be welcome with open arms by an audience ready to enjoy music in the same free, innovative and energetic way he does.
