The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, Conservation Area, Public Right of Way, or Major Applications, and are available to view on our website. Alternatively you can view applications at our Council Offices from 9am until 5pm Monday - Thursday and 9am until 4.30 pm on a Friday. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made in writing by 8 July 2011 quoting this reference number. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (BELL LANE SUTTON BENGER) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2011
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, the effect of which will be to introduce a Prohibition of Driving to all motor
vehicles on the following length of road:- Bell lane - from its junction with High Street to a point 58 metres south of that junction. Deposit copies of the order, plan and Statement of the
Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire County Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the
proposed scheme may be seen at Chippenham Library, Timber Street, Chippenham between the hours of 10am-8pm Monday, 9am - 5pm Tuesday and Saturday, 9am - 4pm Wedbesday and 9am - 8pm Thursday and
Friday until 1 August 2011. Documents can also be viewed online at www.wiltshire.gov.uk/council/consultations/troconsultations.htm Comments on the proposal together with the reasons for

SECTION 14 (1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF: TROWBRIDGE ROAD, HILPERTON NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close
temporarily to all traffic: TROWBRIDGE ROAD, HILPERTON; from its junction with Church Street in a south-westerly direction to its junction with Hilperton Drive. To enable: Wiltshire Council to
resurface the carriageway. Alternative Route: Via Hilperton Road - The Halve - Union Street - Timbrell street - Islington - The Down - Canal Road - Hammond Way, Trowbridge/Hilperton - Marsh
Road/Hill Street/Church Street, Hilperton and vice versa.
The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works period. These works will commence on the 1st August 2011, for five evenings from 7pm to 12 midnight. from its junction with Coombe Lane in a northerly direction to its junction with Church Street, Atworth. To enable: Wessex Water Plc to supply new water service in the carriageway
Alternative Route: Via C212 The Common/melksham Lane, Broughton gifford - B3107 Challymead/Bradford Road - A350 Western Way - A365 Shurnhold, Melksham - Bath Road, Atworth - Bradford Road (unaffected length) and vice versa.
The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works period.
These works will commence on the 25th July 2011, and it is anticipated that the works will take two weeks to complete. The order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
