REVIEW OF PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 51 OF THE LICENSING ACT 2003

An application has been made to review the licence issued to Favourite Chicken and Ribs, 3 Market Place, Trowbridge BA14 8EY. The review of the licence has been requested by the licence authority on the grounds that the premises have been conducted in such a manner as to prejudice the licensing objectives.

The prevention of crime and disorder and public safety the grounds for review are:-

1 The licence holders continued failure to comply with either the premise licence conditions and/or the licensing act 2003 objectives over a considerable period of time.

2 Failure to promote the licensing objectives of crime and disorder and public safety, and that the standards of management att he premises are below that which are expected of a premises operating in the late night economy.

The details of the grounds for review may be inspected at the office of the licensing authority at Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire BA14 8JN between the hours of 09.30 and 16.00 Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

Responsible authorities and any other person may send representation in writing to the licensing officer Public Protection Team, Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire BA14 8JN between 22nd January 2015 and 18th February 2015.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is £5000.
