ARTISTIC pupils at Chapmanslade Primary School have helped to raise funds for a little boy in Romania.
Class 3 at the school have been studying the work of the Austrian painter Friedensreich Hundertwasser and have been producing artwork similar to his using a variety of mediums.
The 8-11 year olds designed paper collages, drew details of pictures using oil pastels, made 3D clay tiles and made colourful compositions using food.
They then opened up their classroom and displayed their work for pupils, parents, governors and friends to come and see.
Pupil Anna Tingey made a Hundertwasser-style cake that was raffled while children also sold colour copies of their artwork.
The money raised went towards the school's fundraising efforts to sponsor Christenel, a little boy who lives in Romania.
The money enables him to go to school and have a hot meal each day.
