ST Mary The Virgin Church in Potterne, near Devizes is celebrating a 750th birthday in style.
Local brewer Wadworth has produced a special beer to commemorate this event called St Mary's 750th - Divine Ale.
The receipt is a 5.1% dark and bitter porter - an older style beer in keeping with the great age of the church and ideal for cold winter days and nights at Christmas time.
The brew was the brainchild of Julian Richards, landlord of The George and Dragon in Potterne and the vicar's wife Ann Howard.
She and her husband David came to help with the brew together with brewer James Molloy.
