A man has been killed in a head-on crash with a lorry at Ashton Common near Trowbridge this morning.
The man's Toyota is believed to have hit the lorry, owned by Framptons Transport Services, just after a bend near Stony Gutter at Ashton Common and was pushed back several yards.
Traffic is being diverted away from the area and there are long tailbacks.
Police at the scene are saying that the road will be closed for several hours while the man is recovered from the wreckage.
Accident investigators are also at the scene.
The lorry driver is believed to be shocked but unhurt.
Police are warning drivers to avoid the A350 around Trowbridge if possible.
