POLICE are investigating after a body was discovered in Wiltshire farmland.

Officers visited the area next to Windsor Drive in Devizes on Friday and put a cordon in place while emergency services attended to the scene.

The cordon has since been lifted.

The family of missing woman Victoria Clements have been informed of this development but formal identification of the body has not yet taken place.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: "Our thoughts are with the relatives and friends of the deceased person at this difficult time."
