FIREFIGHTERS were confronted by a wall of flames when they were called to a car blaze in Melksham yesterday.
A crew from Trowbridge was called to Queensway at 3.45pm and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to deal with the emergency.
The road was cordoned off while the fire was extinguished.
